This is a composition I finished today 5th November 2018, and it is for strings.

My name is Brian Goddard and I am a retired music teacher
About two months ago I thought I needed a challenge, and decided I would like to write for an orchestra. I found a course on orchestration on the internet and studied this for the past two months, and am now re learning harmony and thus have written my first short piece for strings.

My first employment was with the Postmaster General
s Department, later to become Australia Post. I left Australia Post in about 1978 and became a Private Music Teacher
